Multiple key management choices, including Remote Key and Operation Signing Key to suit your security needs.
Remote Key Setup. In the Remote Keys setup you hold your node’s private keys, including the Bitcoin wallet key, entirely on your servers, rather than on the Node connected to the Lightning Network (which runs on Lightspark’s cloud infrastructure).
Operation Signing Key. In the Operation Signing Key setup, the Bitcoin wallet key is held in memory and encrypted at rest within the Lightning wallet’s software, which, like all customer Lightning Node software, runs on Lightspark’s cloud infrastructure. The Bitcoin key does not leave the Lightning wallet software.
