Lightspark powers global accounts and payouts for LootRush

  • Global accounts: LootRush users can receive USD and EUR from clients and platforms anywhere through dedicated account details, without opening a bank account abroad.
  • Global payouts: LootRush users can send money to anyone in their local currency, on Lightspark's local rails across 65+ countries, settled in real time.

Oct. 27, 2026 – Lightspark, the headless API for money, today announced that LootRush is using its infrastructure to bring global accounts and payouts directly into LootRush. Users can get paid in USD and EUR and pay anyone in their local currency, without leaving the app.

LootRush is a global operating account for people who earn in one country, live in another, and do business everywhere: freelancers, creators, online sellers, and remote teams.

For these users, the bank account is the bottleneck. Getting paid by a client abroad usually means opening a foreign account, paying wire fees, and waiting days for funds to land. Paying a contractor in another country means the same friction in reverse. The infrastructure to fix this is already running at scale: adjusted stablecoin volume reached roughly $4.5 trillion in Q1 2026 alone, according to a16z crypto. What's been missing is a simple way to put it in front of users.

“Our users earn in one country, live in another, and do business everywhere. Their account should work the same way,” said Anderson Ferminiano, CEO of LootRush. “With Lightspark, they can get paid from anywhere and pay anyone, all from LootRush.”

Lightspark provides headless infrastructure for money. Businesses build the customer experience; Lightspark powers the accounts, payments, cards, and stablecoins behind it. For LootRush, that meant one integration: Lightspark handles the account details, licenses, local payout rails, and conversion between fiat and stablecoins, while LootRush owns the product. LootRush users never see the plumbing. They see a balance, their account details, and a send button.

“The internet made work global. Accounts should be global too,” said David Marcus, co-founder and CEO of Lightspark. “LootRush builds for people whose financial lives don't fit inside one country, which is exactly who we built Lightspark for.”

LootRush is already live on Lightspark and is expanding access to more of its customers.
